Baby Shower

This Saturday I had my baby shower, it was so wonderful! I had been looking forward to my shower more than I was looking forward to Christmas and it didn't disappoint! Of course the snow had to interfere with our perfect plans... Ryan had been up all Friday night plowing and then was a good enough guy to go make sure all the parents and grandparents driveways were cleared to get to the shower on Saturday morning. He even plowed out the church parking lot, which wasn't his obligation. I know that Kristi, Tara, and John were stressing and I felt so bad! When I first found out I was pregnant the thought of a baby shower occurred to me, and without sisters, I didn't know what might happen. Luckily I have the best friends any girl could ask for, Tara and Kristi were not only willing to throw a shower but just as excited as I was. My sister-in-law Amy also stepped up and wanted to make sure I had some fun games. All three girls did such a wonderful job! The invitations were perfect, the decorations were adorable, the games were so fun, and food was delicious.

I was so happy with the turnout, it was wonderful having so many women I love all in the same place at the same time. And, of course, the most important part is that Andrea has so many great items to welcome her into the world! Thank you for all those that came and to Kristi, Tara, and Amy for all your hard work!

Your shower was so much fun. It felt like we were all back in the 3rd ward again! I felt like the gift my mom and I got you wasn't very cute or fun, but I know you'll find it very useful!! I hope your last month goes smoothly and post some pics when the big day arrives!

Hey, I am so sorry that I couldn't make it, and then forgot to RSVP. Things got away from me in those few days before we left, and then we didn't come home until the day of the shower. It looks like you had a wonderful time! I'm sorry I missed it, but know that we love you guys and were thinking of you.

So I've come to believe that it's your duty as an almost-mom blogger to post pics of your kid's nursery. FYI.

It's almost time! Are you just trembling with anticipation?? Holding back screams of excitement? You could jump up and down, because that can sometimes lead to labor... except then you'll injure yourself so nevermind. Don't do that.

I really wished I could have been there. But I was there in spirit. Its funny, I don't know if you heard but we ended up back in UT the day of the shower for a funeral.

You look so good and you're going to be such a fun mom. Good luck with the delivery and recovery. You had better post a ton of pictures of little Andrea.
