Disney on Ice

The first week of March I decided to surprise Andrea and take her to see Disney on Ice.  I had kept it a secret for a long time and only told her the day of.  I learned my lesson that there is a fine line between suprising her, so I don't have to be asked every day about it, and preparing her emotionally for such an exciting event.  When the show started and Mickey and Minnie came out I think she was overwhelmed with what she was seeing and looked like she was going to cry.  But as time when on she really started to enjoy herself.

Luckily Tangled was definately the best part, Repunzel and Flynn did acrobatics in the air with Repunzel's hair and the lanterns even came down from the ceiling. Not to mention the horse on ice skates, I feel bad for the people cast as that part.

The show was much longer than I anticipated and I couldn't believe that they actually performed the whole story line and every song from three movies, Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, and Tangled.  I, myself, had had enough at intermission, but, oh well, we survived.  Andrea got a wand as a souvenier and we bought cotton candy that came with a crown you could decorate.  I'm always impressed how much we have to talk her into buying souveneirs.  She never asks for much, she's a very grateful little girl.
