I can now say:
"Ruff Ruff" (eh eh)
"Dada" (yaya)
"Mama"
"Moo"
"Hi"
I can:
Walk about 10 steps unattended
Wave bye bye
Clap my hands
Dance
I understand:
"Will you turn the light on/off for me?"
"Will you turn the light on/off for me?"
"Where's the doggy?"
"Where's Dada?"
"Find your juice"
"Find your bink"
I have six teeth, I sleep through the night, and love to torment the dog (who lets me do pretty much anything to her). My mommy and I are best friends, and we love to play and laugh together. My favorite foods are yogurt melts, bananas, and anything someone else is eating!
Although Andrea's official Birthday is the 9th we celebrated early on the 5th. It was so much fun to have friends and family come over to support her. As you can see she was SMOTHERED with gifts which included lots of fun toys, a car, towels, bath toys, adorable clothes, and a toy box made by Daddy (on the far right) that just needs painted.
I decided to get some tools for cake decorating since I figured Andrea should have some more exciting cakes than Ryan and I usually make. And although I am pleased with how it turned out, it seemed a little amateur after watching cake decorating shows all the time on TLC. Also, please ignore the backwards candle. Ryan and I didn't even noticed until we looked at the pictures.
I think Andrea loved being sung to, and even though we had tried to practice blowing, she was way too distracted to realize this was the moment we had been practicing for.
Of course Andrea got to dig into her own piece of cake and seemed to enjoy it, or at least enjoyed sharing with Daddy (which I have a video of but gave up loading after 4 attempts). We didn't allow her too much since she was just getting over a stomach bug and I didn't want to suffer through that again.
It's so tough to believe that a year has gone by, but at the same time I love seeing her grow up! She is so full of personality and wants to explore anything new. I love having family near by to share these occasions with as well as my friends who have been like family. It just wouldn't be the same without them (you know who you are). Thank you everyone for the gifts, and especially the love you have shown for this sweet little girl.

Thanks for allowing me to be involved in such monumental life events! I love our friendship and I love watching this little girl grow up!
It's amazing how fast the time seems to fly, isn't it? But, like you said, it is so much fun to enjoy every aspect of their growing up. Each stage has something new and fun to offer to us mommies and daddies. She really is such an adorable little girl, and I can't wait until we're up there and we can play with her.
She is so cute! congrats on birthday #1
